LRCX had only 30 to 40 openings if I recall correctl Amid a lowered forecast for its third quarter, chip-equipment maker Novellus Systems Inc. is expected to reduce its workforce by year's end, said Cristina Osmena, an analyst with Jefferies & Company Inc.
