I predicted President John F Kerry back in the summer of 2002. That's when I joined his then-tiny cause. The first event was only 40 people. I stayed afterward and there were just 8 of us hanging around the living room relaxing and chatting. John was just like one of the group, a real trooper, open, honest, with it, young-minded, confident, centrist moderate, brave, inquisitive, open to all arguments. Wanted to hear everything and consider it. Just seemed so comfortable with it all and definitely destined. I got a gut feeling about him. This guy is going all the way and may be better than the first JFK. We even talked about the threat of war. He told us Saddam had to be disarmed but that the Bushies were already planning to invade no matter what so all he could do was to try and make sure it was done right. He was very steady and thoughtful about it. Soon after, he told The Ciadel on Hardball that if Bush would just wait awhile to prepare carefully before invasion that would be a lot better. He got a standing ovation from the ultra conservative military crowd who will probably vote Bush anyway.
