Because I don't like your spin on Libertarianism and politics in general.

Interesting. What are you asserting that I - via a 'spin' - maintain as a political philosophy which is different than what Libertarianism espouses?

You give individual liberties a back seat to corporate interests...

That's absolutely incorrect. I value private property rights - which are inextricable from individual liberty - and don't believe that they end simply because someone becomes wealthy.

Here's a question for you. I'm sure you'll duck it (which I welcome), but that's as satisfying an answer as anything you might dredge up: At what point would you have Bill Gates (for example) by virtue of his success, relinquish his Constitutionally-guaranteed right to person and property?

...and you're a monopolist.

I'm "a monopolist"? LOL - I wish.

What you probably meant to say - before your brain disengaged - is that you believe I am pro-monopoly.

I, like every Libertarian and adherent of Austrian economics, believe that if monopolies exist, the only true monopolies are those which are owned or protected by government. The U. S. Postal Service, is one example. Private companies given exclusive contracts would be another.

But I - we - are opposed to bringing government heft on a private interest merely because it has enjoyed success, whether that success is signified by a large market share or the momentary ability to trounce its competition by pricing.

What are you running for?

A political office.
