I think a realistic view would be a bit more balanced. In my mind, the Stern factor will eliminate the chapter 11 threat and bring 100's of millions of revenue in to the company. Just run the numbers, it's pretty easy analysis and I've seen analysts who get paid a ton already do less sophisticated number running than those I've read on message boards.

The negative is what does the company do with this revenue and how does the shareholder benefit given the awful capital structure and tendency for management to dilute and grab for itself.

You have competing forces here and that's why I decided the best way to play this for now is to trade it with a bias towards upward movement as we get to 2006.

My view might be skewed to neutral and negative if Kerry wins. Kerry will be less concerened about decency on the airwaves. Although this won't affect Howard's decision, it may lead to competitors on traditional radio but that's a guess. Further, the perception is that Kerry will be bad for the market, although Clinton was clearly good for business.
