Are you aware that the Russians have exterminated over 250,000 Chechans? One of Bush's very very few allies in the world is the anthesis of what America used to stand before. But since Bush thinks military power is the only form or diplomacy that works Vladamir is etting a good example.

"Human rights monitors report that more than 2,750 Chechen non-combatants have disappeared in Russian zatchitska or “cleansing” operations. Some 49 mass burial sites have been discovered, many in close proximity to Russian military installations."

"The U.S. Department of State conservatively estimates that 80,000 Chechen civilians and resistance fighters have died since 1999. Total deaths, including those from the first Russo-Chechen war (1994-1996), are believed to be around 180,000, though figures compiles by both Russian and Chechen non-governmental organizations suggest that this number may be closer to 250,000."

"CHECHNYA’s pre-war population was approximately 1 million — a figure comparable to the population of New Hampshire. Today, at least half of CHECHNYA’s pre-war population is now either dead or displaced."
