Even if you believe this, this WASN'T the situation in Iraq proir to our invasion. Other than supporting families of the Palestinian suicide bombers, which MANY arab countries do, Saddam wasn't supporting terrorism against the United States.
Saddam didn't like these Wahabbi troublemakers, didn't allow them to set up Madrassas in Iraq. Iraq is NOT the "war on terror" and DOES detract from the "war on terror".
