Michael: The whole process of political assimilation reminds me of Russell Crowe in the movie A Beautiful Mind. If you take a huge amount of information, there is a logical progression to form a conclusion. However, the correlation between all of the information may be purely random. Dogmas are created when we use the process of intelligence to assimilate all of the information into a critical overview of the facts. It is totally impossible for a liberal to ever reach the same conclusion as a conservative. Each group uses their dogma to sift through the information to justify their set of beliefs.

Why do facts have to create a conclusion? In the area of politics, it creates paranoid observations that attack anyone in the spotlight. I am not trying to suggest that people should not try to understand the information at hand. However, it is totally obvious to me that people try to use the gathering of information as a means of being critical of the people whose ideology they do not like. Conversely, they go out of our way to make excuses for people whose ideology they support.

Things get absolutely insane when we try to balance our judgements with third party interests. I find it unfortunate that people try to form judgements about our policies based upon popularity contests with foreign interests. Listening to Soros banter on about the US being hated by it's global allies is absolutely counterproductive. He should keep in mind that he used the power of his hedge funds to ruin foreign currencies around the world in the expoit of capitalism I would venture to say that when Osama bin Laden blew up the the Twin Towers, he was attacking people just like Soros and their arrogant Wall Street ways.

If we bent over to listen to our enemies, the leadership of this country would be in real trouble. I trust that Bush and Kerry can handle the criticism of their respective policies. People need to keep in mind that this whole process of debate should not encourage them to sit back and make snide remarks. The venomous debate needs to be debated in a civil manner. This will demonstrate confidence in the process of democracy and keep our enemies from dividing us as a nation.
