I agree. I wish Kahlil Gibran were alive right now. He made sense to people of all faiths. We could use that in the Middle East.

I love McKuen too and have several of his books. Quite a few of his poems were set to music and performed by Glenn Yarbrough. Glenn Yarbrough is a very fine tenor who made his start back in the 1960s in a group called "The Limeliters." Subject 53661 Unfortunately, I misspelled their name in the topic that I started to discuss their music. Discussion has fallen off.

I met Glenn Yarbrough in Juneau Alaska when I lived there. I told him that I first enjoyed his concert in Missoula Montana with the Limeliters in 1963. He declared "Nobody is that old."
