I read your profile. Very interesting: A mathematician/poet. Congratulations on being published. That has happened to many of the poets here in the corner, but I have not attempted it yet myself. I'm a forester (retired). Forestry is one of those professions that makes use of nearly all the sciences. Mathematics, particularly the statistical branch, are core to the practice of forestry. The mathematical formulas that describe the volume of a tree are very complex. I don't begin to understand them, but depended on them every day. I don't know about mathematics, but forestry would do well to enlist the expertise of artists and poets. Unfortunately, foresters are by nature introverted, so by and large they have failed to recognize the value the fine arts could contribute to forestry. If SI censored your beautiful poem, it would have to shut down completely. It tolerates pretty much anything you care to mention, except solicitation and so forth.
