Why do you object to Bush's religion but not Kerry's? Bush doesn't even preach at churches, but Kerry does. Why the double standard?

Why don't you respond to me face to face? Why pretend like you did not hear what I said?

read the last line of the post I was responding to - if you think I am out of line I will apologize.

Reread my post. It was not a single sentence that troubled me. It was the sum of many little personal digs.

Trading insults disrupts the free-flow of ideas, opinions, and information sharing. Congress taught us that. Most of us catch an insult occasionally, and most of us are likely guilty of sending a barbed message occasionally. But generally, this fast-moving, high-volume thread tries to avoid tossing "personal" zingers at each other because they are just not productive.

We may insult just about everyone else on the planet in a free exchange of ideas and thoughts. We try not to insult each other. Most here prefer to step over a barb most of the time, rather than pick it up and hurl it back.

We are not perfect about this...but nobody else here attaches zingers to most of their messages just because they have a different viewpoint.

jmho,
