I think many do. But I'm not sure about "most". Cheney has become the favorite whipping boy for the Left, even though he is a man of impeccable integrity. I suspect a poll taken amongst only the Left would reflect a view of Cheney that is totally negative, even though there is no basis in fact for ANY of the allegations that have been made against the guy.

The Left, as it turns out, is all for giving Rodney King the benefit of the doubt, but when it is a sleezeball like Cheney, the rule is to convict first and become informed later (or never).
