On the war, Kerry almost eagerly made Bush's point, at first saying, "I do believe Saddam Hussein was a threat," and moments later denouncing Bush for being "preoccupied with Iraq, where there wasn't a threat."

I have been very consistent on this issue all along. Saddam was a threat. Well, it was a different kind of threat. You were wrong, you thought he was a threat. But that was another threat. The threat I meant was a different threat. Besides, I always said he was a threat and should be removed. But Iraq, no, Iraq was not a threat. Only Saddam was a threat. Or his sons. They were the threat not Saddam. And besides the coalition doesn't exist, you went it alone. To eliminate the non-threat. When did I ever deny there was a theat?

Ya think the Democratic Party could use me as a speech-writer?
