I was talking with some friends at a party we gave Saturday evening, and mentioned I was reading the biography of George Washington, and was astonished that Washington ever made it to the presidency because many times he had ridden right out in front of his soldiers when the bullets were flying every which way. I mean, Washington was just plain lucky. I wonder how many other fine leaders were not so lucky. But I can sure tell you the name of someone who has made it to the presidency who didn't go the route Washington did. That smirking little jerk. He's just smart enough to fool every redneck in the country into voting for him. We live in a mobacracy. OK, no more politics.
