Michael: I am not criticizing you in any way. In fact, I agree with everything you are saying about Bush in so far as he made a terrible judgement about going to war based on the non evidence of WMD. However, that was the only way for him to legally get Congress to vote for the military overthrow of Saddam. Nontheless, Bush is the Commander and Chief of our country and I stand behind his decisions 100%. I am completely comfortable with the decision to go to war in Iraq. All of the fallout from the overthrow of Saddam is the result of 20 years of built up tension in Iraq. If people like al Sadr want to inflame the masses to exploit new opportunities in public office, that is fine and dandy. I don't think it is fair to turn around and blame Bush for the anarchy that is endangering the citizens and soldiers in Iraq. Blame the rebels that are killing the innocent people of their own country. Back to the original pooint, I am merely pointing out the contradiction between objective looking at the facts vs. logical anaysis. Ijust think that it is impossible to look objectively at the facts. I have really enjoyed all of your posts. Peace!!
