Most fans have never played a team sport at any competitive level. As a result they don't realize the importance of team play. It's the reason why US basketball didn't win the gold - there was no team. It's the reason why a coach like Joe Gibbs can't right the ship in Washington. Guys like Dan Snyder think you can sign a group of stars and win - it just doesn't work that way. Gibbs is a great coach - now if they could just fire that damn owner. Although talent is important, NOTHING can replace teamwork.
