RE>>I have never tried to prove that God even exists.<<

You demand proof of scripture but not of God.

The bible is my rule - you are your own rule maker.

That is typical of the unsaved.

If God does not need be proven then why does scripture?

I personally don't care what you believe.

When you deny scripture - you deny being saved.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed,
but of incorruptible, by the word of God,
which liveth and abideth for ever.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

You Hawk-eye are as the grass - you too will wither and fade
along with all those who promote the imagination of man rather
than the Sure Word of God

haquiana, you state that you beleive there was some deity that provided the ignition or force that created the Universe as we know it........

I think the universe developed as a scientific event.....and I cannot explain it further than that.

for me to think of a deity or a supreme being being responsible for the creation of the universe is just too mind boggling for me to comprehend and leads to the obvious question of who created the deity and on and on and on.....

I prefer to think of it all as an extrordinary, scientific, unexplainable event
I am sure I will go to my grave never knowing that one...
and I do not consider it germain to my living a good life here on planet Earth anyway.

I think the 2 most important things to a persons life are "Family" and "Friends".

I think lifes most gratifing experience and prime motivator is "accomplishment"

Steady on and have a good one.....
