I don't think the 3.46 EE is going to compare to the FX-55. It might tie the FX-53 in some things.

Another thing about the latest Emergency Edition is that it is the most expensive desktop processor from Intel, and it has neither NX nor AMD64 bit capability.

I am sure Intel will send out the review machines with super expensive DDR2-533 3-3-3 RAM. Money is no object in the benchmark special machine...

The 3.4GHz P4EE already ties or slightly beats the FX-53 in some things, especially in non-gaming benchmarks. AMD needs to release the FX-55 in order to maintain a non-trivial benchmark lead over the P4EE series.
