Hi Bob,

Well on one of your points we agree; "I've been hopeful that future investing acts more like it did in the late 80's and early 90's."

But unfortunately investing these days is more like taking a trip to Atlantic City. Your best weapon today is the ability to mind read as no one can take anything heard from managments nor analysts as being anything other than being told what we want to hear.

Well this boy has been hit in the head one too many times with market 2x4 to not finally get it. I have decided to take a sizable portion of my portfolio off the roller coaster and invest it in nice boring high dividend slow growth stocks.

Slow growth backed by a nice dividend yield appears much more attractive than the never delivered promises coming from the technology sector.

Maybe your buy and accumulate strategy will work sometime in the future, I would like to see a little positive return on my investments sometime while I'm still alive.

Thanks as always for your thoughts.

Chris

Hey Bob,

How do you like the news coming out of the annual shareholder meeting. I just love the board running this company. First they screw the pooch when hiring a replacement for Amenson, then they double the mistake by bring Amenson back and now they decide that the solution to a bad business outlook is to increase spending and cut profitability 20%.

I am now officially unrecommending this stock to you. If you stay it is on your own. I do not beleive these guys have a clue on how to grow the company from here and figure throwing a bunch of money against the wall is the way to go.

They have a great balance sheet but no captain at the helm! A ship wreck might be the way this once promising story ends???
