I can understand the idea that some mental illnesses are not caused by chemical problems in the brain, or anything easily treatable by medicine, but I find it unlikely that there are no such illnesses. I can believe its possible that some illnesses are more purely psychological are inaccurately considered to be due to problems with brain chemistry. I can also believe that we aren't very good at identifying the sources of some mental illnesses, but I don't believe that there is no form of mental illness (or even no moderately common form of mental illness) that doesn't and will never have a relatively simple medicinal/chemical treatment.

Or to put it more simply even if most mental ailments are not caused by what you call "physical ailments", at least a few probably are.
