That's a load of bull if you ask me. I find it hard to believe Microsoft would have the gall to tell someone to uninstall applications before installing their update. They should be sued by someone for incompetence. I don't normally rant, but IMO, that is way overboard. How could they even suggest that you do that? I've been in the golf business for 30 years. I tried to think of something I might possibly do to alienate a customer that much and I couldn't come up with even one scenario. That's so bad it's just asinine. That tech support guy or his boss should be fired. I know from your posts that you know what you're doing so I seriously doubt it was anything you did. That's just incredible. Microsoft needs to fix their "update", not make us uninstall working applications. Sorry about the rant, but that really sucks!
