<<The incest issue and rape issues are non-starters for me. The child who is the product of such tragic conceptions is innocent, and does not deserve the death penalty.>>

I've read where most cases of rape and incest cause so much stress the whatever gets aborted by the mother very early.

I don't understand your reply at all, and think you must have misread or misunderstood me. You refer to the "death penalty," for one thing....

?

I asked two simple questions--

one was about how you would vote re the illegality issue:

Would you, personally, Cobe, vote to make illegal early abortion in the cases of 12 year old rape victims, daughters impregnated by bestial fathers, or women who will die if they are forced to continue gestating, if the victim herself is not Catholic, and believes she should have a right to make this decision herself?

... and the other wasn't about legality, but was more philosophical, and was in regard to your "no nuances" assertions about who is, and isn't, a Catholic. Here that question is -- I see it's a two parter:

IYO is one who believes (for example) that sex outside of marriage is the business of the parties involved, also not a Catholic, "no nuance allowed"? Is everyone you've ever known who engaged in sex outside of marriage (or would have had with enthusiasm had the right opportunity arisen), iyo not a Catholic?
