I suppose its possible that if there is a 3 way split of Iraq they might be powerful enough to grab the Sunni area, but I'm not sure if they will have enough support even then. Some locals might support them against the US, but wouldn't if the US was out of the picture. There was a point were the Baathists were the good guys, really the good guys. They did very good stuff for Iraq. Then came SH. Are they eternally bad, from an Iraqi perspective? I don't know. I don't think you know, or our admin knows. The one thing I do know is that ultimately it's their decision, not ours. You know that as well. John
