Pam,
I was going to write pretty much the same thing. Gross margins seem to be the difference. When SSTI warned that they would be short on revenues a month or so ago, their stock actually went up that day--because their GMs were higher, and their earnings weren't hurt as much as their revenue was.

Gross margins and, especially, the outlook for future gross margins are key to how the stock will respond the day after earnings.

Pam - well thread.. is there a shortage or a glut. An analyst today thinks there is or is going to be a glut. What is our experience?
