Oh, before I forget, I found this last night and thought it was extremely interesting... "Five sided cat 5 hurricane eyes"?

One competitor bites the dust... They should have changed their name to "CNN Money" while they had the chance.

Hey Yogi.... Feel free to get in touch in the way you usually do.. to verify it's me.

I have some bizarre access here now that does not allow private messages.

Hey, Ted.

Looks to me like you need the login information for your old account. If you email admin_dave@techstocks.com, he'll get you the loginID and password for that account. Or I can just post it here. <g>

If you haven't visited in a while, this place probably looks a lot different. Last time you and I communicated, I was the Site Administrator and InfoSpace owned the site.

They laid me off (with about 250 other folks) in February of 2001, I took on the job of heading up an upstart competitor, and in May of 2003, we bought Silicon Investor. Yep, bought by a former employee. Or, more accurately, by the company at which the former employee is president and resident programmer.

A few months ago, we rolled out the version of Silicon Investor you see before you now, after a 16-month rewrite from scratch. In fact, like any programming project I've ever seen, it's still being written/re-written.

I'm not the Admin here anymore. This guy is: Member 9086592

So I guess I bought my old employer then fired myself from my old job. My new job is, like with our other site, president and programmer. Or as I like to call it "A geek with business cards".
