How come, Bush couldn't even make Powell to tell Blix??

Maybe Bush was on an Atkins diet??

The information was funneled through him.

One of the major points he was making when reporting to the UN was that there wasn't a method to get more than an estimate of the chemicals in the waste dump. That's what he meant by not knowing if all the chemicals and biologicals were destroyed. Of course Faux reported it as if the Iraqis were hiding something.
