It's no reflection on your submission, Dust Man, but this memory jumped into my head when I read it: We were professionals going back for graduate level study at a western university. We stayed on the second floor. Some cocky undergrads stayed on the fourth floor. One of our guys put a six-pack on the sill of his window to cool for later. Suddenly, the six-pack began to rise, like a marionette. He rushed to the window only to see the beer pass the third floor on the end of a fishing line. When the beer got to the fourth floor, he was knocking on the door of the culprits and recovered the beer undiminished.
