LOL, Orange County hasn't had pretty orange groves and no traffic for at least 40 years. along with Los Angeles, it is one of the most hideous and disagreeable, soulless places on the planet (except for the beaches). of course, everyone "has" to live there--they even have a TV show. so prices are ridiculous. actually, your earlier comment about a desert is almost accurate--that is what Southern California would be without an outside water supply.
