Wingnut accusations of Democrats being free spenders ... .......... is laughable on its face considering the absurd spending habits of Reagan and, now, Bush. The principle differences between modern day Republicans, i.e. militarists, and modern day Democrats is-- ..... Republicans spend massive amounts of money on the military, don't have adequate taxes to support that spending, and pile debt on the nation. ..... Democrats promote reasonable social programs and pay for them responsibly. We are living in an age where the Democrats are the fiscally responsible and the Republicans are simply militaristic. /john
