Bush is the most reviled US President in the last 100 years. Only the citizens of Niger (or was it Nigeria) and the Phillipines favored him to win another term. We're 5% of the world's population and the debacle in Iraq has shown the world in full color how weak our military is in urban and guerilla warfare. I even heard how some Iraqis favor having the British replacing us as foreign occupiers because at least the Brits have SOME experience in empire. Do you see how ridiculous this is? Bush lied about the imminent threat of WMDs and went into this war unnecessarily. Bush then tried to do it on the cheap so there were ample resources to invade other countries in the region and then the entire thing blew up. Another rumor is that the Japanese have had a peaceful 'occupation' because their government paid the local strongman $96 million. Liberty? Democracy? Freedom? How about simple graft.
