First, as you well know, the quote was not about the philosophy of democracy or fascism; it was about the use of the propaganda of fear and nationalism to create a fertile climate for war. Surely you picked up something on reading comprehension during the many years you studied at Harvard?

Second, as you well know, the only thing I posted from Goering was that one quote. For you to create a "fascinated with" and "favorite political philosopher" straw man out of that is simply intellectually dishonest.

We don't all subscibe to your apparent dogmatic core belief that one must never consider the thoughts and words of those who are "not us." In point of fact, who better to study on the issue of driving a nation to unecessary war than the Nazis?
