I now think Kerry will win too .....

.......... The first debate completely changed my mind about the course of the campaign. Events in Iraq are now taking hold. I think Bush is toast.

Kerry will win by a shocking margin. He will win virtually every battleground state, including Virginia.

I really like Kerry. I'm just disappointed how middle of the road the Democratic Party has become. The fundamentalists have really pushed this country to the right. I like how Kerry navigates these troubling waters.

Bush trapping the Democrats, including Kerry, into a bipartisan support of the invasion of Iraq troubles me. Coupled with the stupidity of the American public and how easily it's manipulated by the right wing, I am very disillusioned, regardless of the results of this election. That's why I'm doing some repairs to my house and going to Ireland next summer to explore job opportunities.
