Still waiting to see what they cure. 2. Stem cells from the blood in umbilical cords. Easily gotten from the umbilical cord after the baby is born. 99% of them are destroyed as medical waste now. There has been some success in fighting medical problems with these cells. 3. Your own stem cells in your bone marrow. Now these puppies have the most promise. They have YOUR DNA. Starting to be used in fighting leukemia. I read an article in Reader's Digest where they have now been used to repair damaged heart sections.
