Luke chapter 3! Adam all the way to Christ. (although the second cainan in verse 36 is a carryover from the septuagint which is inaccurate when it comes to chronology. the translations from the hebrew masoretic texts are correct.)

In your opinion how can the Christian be sure that he has been elected or chosen by God -- and how important is that??
