Geode00:
Nothing would please me more than to have a rational intelligent discussion with you. If you wish that to occur, you are going to have to prove to me that you are capable of it. The last exchange we had ended with you accusing me of being stupid, or some other equally brilliant of a rebuttal.

The liberation of Iraq was a brilliant strategic move. Tactically is has been difficult. It is likely that it will improve dramatically as soon after the US election is over. Before you make a flip response please check to see what the terms mean (and how the military uses them).

Bush saw the larger threat of terrorism. Bush saw the threat in Iraq. He has found a middle ground that allowed the US to attack terrorism at its source.

We have the choice of fighting there or here. IMHO over there is preferable. Would you prefer to fight here? Maybe you would like it if terrorists lived next door to you. They could practice killing Americans on the beach. Muslim neighbors would be fine with me. Terrorists would not.

There are more terrorists on the ground in Iraq because they realize that this is the fight of their lives. If they lose in Iraq, they are dealt a severe blow. The side benefit of having them self identify themselves is good too. The outcome is afar from certain. If Kerry is elected he says he will send in more troops, but have them home soon. Iraq would be controlled by a new thug in that event.

Metaphorically, Kerry would have lead us down the river away from the landmine as he did his troops. Maybe if someone else stayed to fight, he might see that and return to act will valor. That is not the kind of leadership we need to rescue us from the threat of terrorists.

Bush has done a great job of rescuing us from Clinton's recession. His executive order on Stem Cell research was a stroke of moral and ethical genius. He rescued us from the crippling effects of the midnight order to improve drinking water 1000 times. Most rural water systems would still be shut down if Bush had not blocked the ridiculous order. Bush only made them improve 10 times from the 8 eight years Clinton was President. These are just a few policies I agree with.
