elmerp:

"As you can see, I am short Oct $14 Calls and Nov $15 Calls. One set is covered the other is naked. Take your pick which is which. This is the risk I took when I wrote those Nov $15s. As of today I think I'll wait until Friday and see what happens but that's subject to change.

I am also short Oct $14s in another accounts."

Just hope you don't find yourself in that false failsafe trap you found youself in when you were so bearish on AMD that you sold puts only to find out the hard way just how bullish selling puts can be in a fast declining market!

Dunno, elmerp, but pre-market indicators lok to be putting a hurt on AMD shorts. If pre-market strength continues thru the day, you may have to buy my Oct 14's and 15's to cover off!

I'm thinking any significant AMD volume above the recent $14.22 high opens the door for a rapid tect of $14.50. Heck if we get a carry thru of strength the rest of the week maybe we will see that 70% ratio (i.e. $15.40/$22)by Friday's close...Kinda nice for any longs should that be the cae!
