Bill Clinton propelled my journey away from the middle. When I watched him talk on TV, I wanted to believe him. He was convincing. He was smooth. But I couldn't trust anything he said because so many things turned up different from his declarations. Don't ask me to list them. It was basically everything he said and everything he did. He was lucky -- the luckiest president in history to land in the environment set up for him by Reagan and George H W Bush.

If who you prefer is Reagan and GW Bush, then you were never in the middle. Both are from the radical right.......Bush more so than Reagan.

Now I will never return to the middle. I have seen that the values I hold dear, including professional ones that I dedicated my life to, were turned on their heads by Bill Clinton and many if not most of the Democratic party power base.

Turned on their heads? Sounds dramatic! ;~)

What values of yours were turned on their heads that you would endorse a party that is morally corrupt?

People would do well to be skeptical of the promises made by John Kerry. He can't be trusted, and his record in the Senate shows that he isn't even there on critical issues.

I know which person has lied to me and the rest of America
for the past 4 years. I am beyond skeptical........I actively working for Bush's defeat in November.

You say he was "lucky" so you must approve how things turned out under Clinton?

"But so many things "turned up different than his declarations. Don't ask me to list them". Perhaps I could ask for a few examples outside of Monica? Did Clinton promise to expand the national debt, only to have it shrink to a surplus? Did he promise a recession, only to have an eight year expansion?

You sound like one of those bums in the cheap seats who rides a batter to no end until he hits a home run - then claims he still has no talent - it was just luck.

he (Clinton) said because so many things turned up different from his declarations. Don't ask me to list them. It was basically everything he said and everything he did. He was lucky -- the luckiest president in history
