Still.......I could see that he was carrying his emotions right on his sleeve......I think it must be like a new beginning for him. He got red in the face, and eyes at times, but over all thanked us for listening. Can you imagine that? Thanking US for listening. He didn't look you in the eye when he talked about certain activities, but smiled when he told us about the new guys and the tricks the older guys would play on them.....some of which were designed to defend themselves against covert action by the VC. In the end, we thanked him for his service and told him we appreciated his service to our country. He was genuinely grateful. M
