I agree the real Bush smear stuff will start now. THe Bushies were successful in keeping dubya's poll numbers up before the debates. No one really knew Kerry and they managed to demonize him. Now that the public has met Kerry through these debates and can see that he is intelligent, thoughtful, insightful, experienced AND a hundred times more "presidential" than Bush they will try to smear Kerry so that he has no time left to redeem himself via the debates. It's all so predictable. BTW these right wingers can be relentless when they want to demonize someone--I remember when they were drumming up Gulf War I, every news break gave us an update on how diabolical Saadam was. Now I suspect the Sean Hannitys, etc will be in overdrive trying to make Kerry look like Satan (or a terrorist, communist, take your pick-he will be the demon du jour). Question is, are Americans so dumb they won't see through this?
