Democrats braying over payback time . . . is typical

Most Democrats lauded Michael Moore's mockumentary Fahrenheit 9/11, portraying President Bush in a bad light. They even gave Moore a VIP seat at the Democratic National Convention. But now that the elephant of another color has found its way out of the circus tent, the crybaby Democrats are whimpering and whining their usual partisan donkey brays.

Remember Democrats how you told everybody who would listen, that Moore's film was just entertainment? Well, kick back with a big bag of popcorn, a large drink, and get ready for some more entertainment, because the anti-Kerry movie "Stolen Honor" featuring your man John Kerry is about to be aired on 60 broadcasting television channels owned by the Sinclair Corporation. And for your convenience, you don't have to go to a crowed theater to watch what promises to be an enlightening film.

While it's true Moore likes to throw his weight around like a raging bull in a China shop, it's usually the little calf over in the corner who makes the best impression, when all is said and done.

Evidently, the liberal Democrats need reminding we live in a democracy — not a "do as I say" nation bullied by them. It's time for them to stop pushing their weight around like overbearing ganders and learn to choke down the food they like to dish out, when the leftovers come back full circle to their plates. Haven't they ever heard — what goes around comes around? The only trouble is: when it comes back around it's a lot worse!

The best suggestion I can give the Democrats like Senator Zell Miller of Georgia, and others, who want a viable political party is for them to gather their moderate, mainstream members under their wing and haul freight! A good name for the third party would be: "The New Democrats." After all, many Americans have been looking for a workable third party haven't they?

Sometimes it's necessary to cut your losses and move on. For twenty years your man John Kerry has led the way as the number one liberal in the senate. He says he doesn't approve of abortion, and yet he's voted for every pro-abortion bill introduced in the senate. He stated in the last debate — he couldn't push his personal beliefs about abortion onto the people. Well, Mr. Kerry the majority of the people in America are against abortion, they are against same-sex marriages, and against higher taxes. So your lame excuses about the issues Mr. Kerry, have an extremely hard time holding water — much less any credibility.

You also said you don't plan to raise taxes, and yet you plan to cut the trillions of dollars debt in half, using your four-year plan. How? Surely you quit believing in fairytales a long time ago. You keep talking about President Clinton's bogus projected surplus that never really existed, and how President Bush blew the money. Mr. Kerry play money is for games like Monopoly — not the real world. Visualizing dreams about a projected surplus does not a surplus make. Besides, common sense should tell you, if you have a national deficit, even if a projected surplus did exist, the country would still be operating in the red from all previous administrations not balancing the budget before leaving office. It's similar to expecting an inheritance, but all you inherit are unpaid bills.

Let's look at some cold hard facts (the kind that hits right between the eyes). You Democrats keep talking about the job losses the president is responsible for, but you fail to tell the people most of those job losses happened because of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Surely, you didn't expect the World Trade Twin Towers to be up and running with job security intact overnight. My God, we lost nearly 3,000 people that fateful day, and at least a million jobs.

Unless the Democratic party rids the party of political operatives who are self-serving; un-American; embrace hatred; promote division for self-gratification and power — the Democratic party will continue downhill.

I hope that Senator Zell Miller will consider saving his party, by breaking away and forming a new Democratic party, a party that once again possesses dignity, trustworthiness, morality, and an inner desire to do what is right for the people of these United States.
