I'm convinced mainstream media is pushing Kerry so that they can drop the pretense that they're legitimate news outlets. White House reports of Teresa Heinz Kerry telling heads of state to shove it! and Kerry bowing & scraping to Barbra Streisand have become the mainstream media's preferred Inquirer-style news coverage. They find Pres Bush & Laura's long & loving marriage devoid of the Jerry Springer trailer-trash headlines they so crave.
