A precious few times in my life I have indeed seen such situations, large capital gains with low risks. How about a 5% yield, PE of 7, return on capital of over 20%, moderate debt, ground floor of a very fast growing business? That was Fujitsu in 1965. I looked on PTR as such when Buffett climbed in. That was only last year. They do turn up once in a while. I don't see any such thing now but I am content to hold onto moderate capital gain stocks with low risk. I try to stay away from enormous capital gain stocks with high risks; that's the province of brave adventurers like Jay Chen, who knows what he's doing.
