Would you really walk around with GB's of pictures?

Yes, do now. But I make my living with them.

How many people carry their photos with them?

This would be great for holidaymakers as a means of temporary storage. I was recently on vacation and had to bring my iBook so that I could download the pictures I had taken each day--at the end of two weeks, I had added nearly 1200 images. I kept wishing that I could connect my camera to my iPod and transfer the images directly. In fact there is an iPod accessory that allows you to do just that, but it's big and clunky and expensive.
