Are you saying that Harkin KNOWS about the secret plans? If not (clearly not) then he's made it up. Why? To help the Democratic ticket, to foster fear.

Unethical? Get real.

As for the article, I was just wondering about the technicalities of discharges, etc. I don't have the experience, and thought maybe the reporter was just leaving out the obvious explanation.

One thing, though, if Kerry had received a dishonorable discharge, with whatever explanation (Nixon, Colson, etc.), my opinion is voters ought to know and have known, long before this, about this in a person who is running to be commander in chief.

Or do you think it might be irrelevant?
