The allies won world war 2 because they had the "will to win?"

Please tell me why the Germans and the Japanese LOST? Did they have a failure of will? Did they "quit" when the going got tough? What about the fact that the German's fought until all they had left were little boys and old men. The Japanese fought until they were flying their planes into ships and committing Hari Kari rather than surrender. The Japanes didn't quit until we showed them that we were willing to turn their people into nuclear dust!

Please explain how they lost because they lacked will. Or is it that the universe revolves around America and it is only our "will" that counts?
