I see LRCX made 42% more profits on basically similar revenue with 2,200 employees vs 2,900 for NVLS.

NVLS expects revenue to decline about 25% for this current quarter while LRCX has the decline 11% down with bookings down roughly 5 to 15%.

I can't see why the two don't swap places at the very least in price/share.

Next Quarter NVLS will make less than half what LRCX will make per share according to guidance I've read. 700 extra employees are a boat anchor in a slowdown...
