Well, the stock went up just like the markets started green and ended red. No logic IMO.

FYI, here are the unit numbers from Apple's financial reports. Funny how they compare and talk about increased CPU sales of 6% over last year's dismal performance but say nothing about the numbers being worse than last qtr!

Note 1: We all know they shipped a bunch of Xserves which means the desktop Powermac sales were poor)

Btw, Apple's overall gross margins have been dropping for quite some time. They will continue to drop further as the competition increases in the iPod's market and Apple relies more on iPod sales while the computers sales continue to show no improvement. Where's the spillover of iPod buyers buying Apple computers?
