From the Salon link I posted: Now a technical expert who designs and makes such devices for the U.S. military tells Salon that he believes the bulge is indeed a transceiver designed to receive electronic signals and transmit them to a hidden earpiece lodged in Bush's ear canal. Everyone knows that would be no "wire" up to his ear. He did look heavy, but maybe that was a protective vest, though the WH denied he wore one. The photos of the ridge are what are really strange. But I don't believe he was hearing any prompts tonight. (Just my intuition about what i saw.)
