What are your thoughts longer term. I am thinking that I will continue to trade it short term and use this opportunity to buy some longer calls or leaps.

My general thoughts are along the same line as Cooters. The reason I have been buying Sandisk hasnt been for the second half of '04, but rather the second half of '05. I still see the trend towards flash memory in handsets as being able to soak up the extra capacity....both from Samsung and from the new players.

Of course, if handset demand doesnt materialize, the downside could still be significant. In past downturns, product gross margins have taken huge hits (I vaguely remember 6% PGM's sometime in '02).

Personally, I'm waiting to hear Samsung's comments tonight before I make any decisions one way or another....
