What was your impression of the debate? This was the top debate for GWB. kerry performed pretty much the same in all three. Nothing new. He continued his name-dropping (McCain etc.) The Bush humor was effective. He often gave succint answers which hit the target. Punchy! Bush nailed kerry on the McCain comments. He also nailed him on his non-support of the Iraq war (1991). Kerry, like edwards brought up the lesbian issue on Cheney's daughter. Very stupid. Both kerry and edwards were often on the defensive as evidenced by their self-induced need to finish answering a comment by Bush/Cheney from a prior moderator question. They were often defensive. That was evident tonight. GWB moved kerry off his game. Mrs. kerry was sour appearing in all debates. Never saw her smile. She must have out sourced all her humor along with all the Heinz jobs. Bottom line - kerry is history. Will not become president, and with a reasonable republican candidate, will be chased out of Massachusetts in '06.
