a LOT of people that are worried about whether they're going to have a JOB in the future.

Maybe so. Unemployment at 5.4% now. During clinton's second run it was 5.6% We will have to see how it plays out for this election.

RMF, only Americans who believe WashDC can solve all their problems find Kerry's "I have a plan" credible. Pres Bush has made very worthwhile suggestions to improve healthcare. He wants to change insurance laws so that small businesses can join together to provide health insurance to their employees. Congress needs to make the necessary legal changes. Congress can also make tort reform a priority and thereby reduce MDs horrific insurance costs, which will help to reduce medical costs. GW will press for that reform in his 2nd term.

As far as jobs, education is indeed the key to solve that problem as GW stated. He has implemented strong support for community colleges to focus on educating Americans to specifically fill the positions available in their local area. Those Americans who worked in manufacturing with a high school diploma or less, need to take advantage of the tuition grants mentioned by the Pres. In that way their newly acquired skills will qualify them for tomorrow's jobs. There's no way around it....many items will be manufactured for less in cheaper labor markets of 3rd world countries from now on. Public schools must cooperate with GW's No Child Left Behind program, which has proven to be effective in raising performance levels for math & reading at elementary level. Those students will be better prepared to enter college in the future.
John Kerry's answer to everything is "I have a plan." I doubt most Americans want to buy that Persian rug salesman pitch. His 20yr senate voting record is so unremarkable that he rarely mentions it...that's because there isn't anything worth mentioning. Pres Bush is a strong leader with effective programs for the future. We need to renew his contract on Nov 2.
